Viva Las Vegas!!!
Well... I'm back. The wedding was great and Erin and I have a lot of fun in Vegas for out honeymoon.
I found that the prices on many cigars in Vegas were slightly cheaper than here in Santa Cruz (by about 50 cents.... still way to expensive!) but that really popular name brands, like Monticristo's, were way way jacked up. I went into a couple Davidoff and one Dunhill shop (in the casinos... the vanician and the belagio i think). also went to some cheesy local shop on the strip where they roll their own cigars (they sucked). The cigar gem of my visit was a happen chance visit to a great little shop off of the strip (i'm pretty sure it was on Tropicana Blvd.) called Phesant Cigars. The prices here were still high, and I got some kind of funky vibes from the owner but he was very friendly to Erin and I. I really liked their walk-in humi... it looked like something I would love to build in my own home! And they had an upstairs and downstairs lounge, both filled with large, comfy looking leather chairs and sofas. The downstairs lounge had a huge screened T.V. with some sort of gaming unit (playstation or something) and although I didn't go upstairs it looked like there was a pool table up there. It was a very kewl store. Anyway.... had a great time. Good to be back and reading the boards.
