1st day out deer hunting success *pics*
First day out for me was yesterday 11/4.... Woke up at 3:15...was dead tired... got to the spot at about 6am.....at my spot and in the tree with my climber at about 65.....Today I was hunting with a crossbow (Horton 75lb draw one)...

This 7pt buck came by at ~8:10 am..... Made a nice shot when he was quartering away...took out both lungs... He ran about 20 yards than dropped.
He's about 120lbs .....good eatin' deer!






Buying a doe tag and going back out soon....

Congrats! I haven't hunted since I left Alaska. Doesn't seem too sporting to sit in a tree and wait for them to walk by. I does fill the freezer, though
