How long are you gonna be in Tortola? If you have a day in Tortola, you need to check out Virgin Gorda and Jost Van Dyke. They are different islands, but a couple of BVI's best and can easily be hit in one day.

If you've got a day in the BVI, check out this place:http://www.jostvandykescuba.com/

You can spend a half or full day with Captain Colin in one of his ecotours, who will treat you like family or a long lost friend. If you're into snorkeling, hiking, or just want to check out different islands, this is a great trip. You take this ecotour and I'll guarantee you'll be coming back to the BVI.

I always use an on line cruise service to check out all the activities at each stop or in your case each place you are going to visit .The one I like is http://www.icruise.com . Check out the cliffs at St.Martin great views, and check out the Bitter End Resort on line,it is still my top island stop on your list for food drink rest and playtime.Enjoy the trip regardless of what ever you do

Remember the pics! I'm looking forward to planning my next BVI trip and can always use some motivational eye candy.

Lots of good places for rum!

Look for Don Q Anejo and/or Ron del Barilito 3 Star in Puerto Rico. Lookup "Casa Don Q", and "La Casita Information Center". They're right next to each other, near Pier 2 in Old San Juan, and have plenty of rum.

In St. Thomas, look for A.H. Riise: http://www.ahriise.com/SpiritsTobacco.html
The rum is only available at their stores, but it looks like their stores offer all kinds of other fun stuff (and plenty of sparkly things for the wife).

In St. Maarten, look for Rhum Agricole from Martinique. Good brands are Neisson, La Favorite, and Clement.

And don't forget to bring back a bottle or two for me!

Go to the fort in San Juan, PR. You'll sail past it as you port. It is within walking distance. It's about 500 years old and has some canon still there. Great place for pics.

On St Maarten, in Phillipsburg, there is a Casa de Habano. They have a nice selection, but it's a bit pricey, especially the big name brands. If you go for some of the machine made sticks, the are very reasonable and very good as well. A few of the lesser known brands, such as Diplomatico, can be had reasonably as well.
