Now, don't get me wrong. I'm all about being respectful of other people views, beliefs, cultures, traditions, etc. but I'm not willing to compromise my views, beliefs, cultures, traditions, etc. just because you think someone might be offended. And to attack Santa Claus of all people. One of icons that's identifiable just about everywhere you can go on this planet. Let's take one of the very few things the majority of human beings have in common and criticize, change, and censor it.  Thank you, that is all. |

Anybody in their right mind knows that Santa isn't degrading women when he says "Ho ho ho!" I'm reasonably sure that Santa was around and using "ho ho ho!" before poeple started calling women of loose morals "ho's" anyway.

SYDNEY (AFP) - Santas in Australia's largest city have been told not to use Father Christmas's traditional "ho ho ho" greeting because it may be offensive to women, it was reported Thursday.
there are many more important things that "the Press" should report on and society should be worrying about that that being said...............Australia must be the place to find "loose" women if thats where it offends the ladies

I'm just... in shock.
I know there's a stupid joke that's been going around this time of year (Santa gets arrested, has to defend himself in court because a woman accused him of calling her thrice a "hoe"). Now this... well, either it's a revamped version of that joke (it ain't April 1st though, what's the point?) or it really makes me fear for the intellectual future of the human race...  A true Darwin Award winner in the making. "Gimme a break", indeed!! |
