Luckily, my primary care manager at the Pentagon is a licensed Chiro...he gave me an adjustment (that hurt like Satan), but it did seemed to help...but not much.

Sorry to hear about your mishap. Take it easy for a few days, that is the only way to heal a bad back. Hope you feel back to normal soon.

Yikes,,,talking about taking one for the team ( cigars+humi ) Hope no residual problems with that injury as you will need time to heal and recuperate.

I did the same thing (didn't have humi in hand though), and while I can't prove it, I think it eventually led to me needing surgery. Rehab that thing!

I agree with all that said "Back injuries are serious" there are NO back issues that can be taken lightly.
I wouldn't take just one Docs word for it that all is well and I would certainly listen to all these guys saying to take it easy and make sure your back is well (not just feeling well from the codine) before you do anything strenuous. Get that sucker right man.

I already had minor back pains, it was just stupid luck that I landed right on that part of my lower back. I am feeling better, but I went ahead and did some running today. I should take it easy tomorrow. Thanks everyone for the best wishes and advise!

I'm in the midst of learning what several have said hear...let it get better; when it feels better, let it rest some more.
I didn't, and I am still hurting (sometimes very badly) a couple of months after my fall. Take care, be smart, get a second opinion if you think it is needed, and don't rush it. |
