Oklahoma Ice storm begins....sigh....

Well, as advertised, the big ice storm started about 2-3 hours ago. Bad lightning a down pour of freezing rain with more to come Sunday and Monday. For all the Okie gorillas: be safe out there and don't get out in this crap unless you really, really have to.

We've got it in Illinois too. Rained all day yesterday, raining today and probably tomorrow also. Then we get a break for a day or two before it sets in again. Sub freezing predicted for the whole week. What a mess; limbs crashing, electricity flickering...... what a mess.

I freakin hate this. Every year it's the same freezing rain and inch or two of ice it makes your whole week miserable until it thaws out. Why the hell doesn't it just snow already.

Knowing Oklahoma weather it will probably be 85 next week.

You know I have been around a long time and over the years I have seen freezing rain but it seems to me the last five years or so its happening all the time,,maybe something to do with global warming,,I don't know..
