Celebration

Recently my business partner and I completed the largest single project that we had ever done. But as anyone who has their own business knows it don't mean squat until you get paid. On Thursday we received the single largest check we have ever received. So after almost 3 months of exhausting our line of credit, maxing out our credit cards, delaying suppliers, putting our houses on the line we got paid and we get to celebrate. Went out to a great steakhouse and over indulged. Ended up at the Bostonian Hotel's lounge relaxing in their over stuffed shairs and watching the gorgeous scenery go by. (Flipflop knows what I am talking about). I had dug deeply into my humidor and pulled out 2 Monte #2's from 1986 that I had been saving. So for about 2 hours we just sat and smoked and knocked back several double shots of Remy Martin Louis XIII cognac. The next morning was tough and it was back to the usual stuff, but for the evening at least there was tangible reward for a lot of years of very hard work. God bless America!

Congratulations, Steve! Sounds like you celebrated in style (I would expect nothing less from the connoisseurs connoisseur)

RE: Celebration

Congrats!!!

When I started to read you story I was wondering what you
would smoke to celebrate with. It seems you smoke so many
great cigars regularly, what would you celebrate with.

I have a Monte #2 tucked away for the big 4 - 0!

RE: Celebration

Congrats on the big check. I'm still waiting for mine, it will come in time. It's the same over here, we have bills stacking day by day. It must feel good to have all that gone! Great choice in the celebratory cigar and cognac.:9
