Another hobby that cuts into cigar funds.

I know this has been done before but I thought I would share a picture of one of my other hobbies. I seem to like knives as much as cigars so I took a picture to post. Anyone else collect knives.

Thats not a Knife......... This is a KNIFE!

OK, I said it..... their ya go.

This is a pic of a Katana similar to the one I use for Iaido, this sword is not mine (didn't have any pic's handy), mine is a Dark Blue color, but the Tsuba (hand guard) is the same as the one on my sword.

You know, I was going to reply to this post a couple of hours ago with the following:

"Cue DownUnder LLG:"

But I wasn't sure if you'd make it to this thread

Oh and, that's not a knife, this is a knife:

This is all getting incredibly surreal... I see you've played knifey spoony before indeed.
And now I can see DownUnder running around New York on peoples heads.

We have a winner for most expensive hobby! To quote a great man Jeff Foxworthy "You know if she ain't happy, you ain't happy. And if she ain't happy for long enough, you're not happy with half your stuff."

Re: Another hobby that cuts into cigar funds.

I don't know if you could call what I do "collecting"; it's probably more like accumulating. I have quite a few Spydercos, Benchmades, CRKTs, and other carry knives. If I see one that I like, I buy it figuring that I'll lose the one currently in my pocket pretty soon anyway and that way, I'll have a replacement ready to go.

I guess that's kind of like cigas--I can justify buying a box because I know I'm going to smoke the last box pretty soon and I don't want to have to wait 7-10 days after I finish off the last one. hmmm...better go place an order now

Re: Another hobby that cuts into cigar funds.

I have a couple of knifes, nothing expensive, exept for a Recon spear point folder from Cold Steel. The sharpest knife I have ever seen! I have been wanting to get a Bowie but my cigar hobby seems to be cutting into my knife and firearms funds.
