My main ring tone is clip from "What Comes Around Goes Around" by the Beastie Boys, off of Paul's Boutique. It's the part just after 1:00 that is the background music that plays throughout the song (guitar and drums?) as well as a piano playing a few notes over and over again. Chose it because it's music but also sounds like a ringing sound.

Treo standard ringtone, a real pain in the ass at herfs. Booker's phone is constantly gonig off I am used to hearing the ringer and reaching for my phone so I pull my phone out 20-30 times during a herf when its not going off

Yep - On my Treo I use the ring ring - sounds like an old mechanical ringer. Same thing for everyone. It's loud and I can hear it most of the time.
