To fallen soldiers let us sing
Where no rockets fly nor bullets wing
Our broken brothers let us bring
To the Mansions of the Lord
No more bleeding, no more fight
No prayers pleading through the night
Just divine embrace, eternal light
In the Mansions of the Lord
Where no mothers cry and no children weep
We will stand and guard though the angels sleep
Through the ages safely keep
The Mansions of the Lord

A Soldier's Prayer for the Fallen: The Mansions of the Lord

Deepest sympathy to you and your family!

Re: In Memory of a Fallen Warrior

The family and I appreciate the condolances and prayers expressed by the folks in the club. The funeral and award of medals/honors was held in Houlton Maine on the 22nd of Dec, burial won't take place until the spring due to the ground being frozen and covered with several feet of snow. I have to take my hat off to the Army Casuality Section, their National Guard counterparts in Maine the people in the state of Maine and the towns people of Houlton for their support, Ft. Sill and Ft. Hood Army communities for their dedication and assistance to the family during this ordeal as well as the dignified return of the fallen to the family. Its almost over but we'll get there. By reading a few other threads we'er not alone in the loss of a warrior. God bless everyone and again thank you.
