Back to Normal I think

Well, I havn't been my old Cigar smoking self for the past 6 weeks due to my inability to smell/taste. A Cigar Smokers Hell I tell you!!!! My doc prescribed antibiotics and just when I would start to get better it would happen all over again. I finally went to an ENT specialist today and he prescribed me some Nasonex and Allegra. It was Allergies. Well thankfully it's started to work already! I just polished off some fried Chicken and now I'm easing into a Gran Habano #5 Roth. Tasty!!!!(Thanks again Sean) I thought I was gonna have to sell off the Humi's and there contents and take up Knitting or something. Whew! Just thought I'd let everyone know I'm back!

Re: Back to Normal I think

Glad to hear that Thurm. I spend about two weeks a year without cigars because of allergies and sinus problems--it sucks!

Glad you can enjoy our fine hobby again. I think its weird how allergies can creep up on people like that. How's the Gran Habano?

Sinus problems suck and mine seemed worse this year than ever.
Glad to hear you are back to normal.

Re: Back to Normal I think

Good to have you back. Light up a nice one. I have kind of been having a similar problem recently. I know a good cigar from a no good one, but a lot of the subtleties are lost on me (I know someone else posted something similar not to long ago), but I think it is just a seasonal allergy change thing goin on.

Re: Back to Normal I think

Glad to hear everthings better, not much good smokin a cigar if you
can't smell or taste it, what a bugger.
Although on the bright side, it would be an opportune time to get
rid of any Tamborils or Cremosas if you had any in the Humi

Hope you enjoyed the GH.

The Gran Habano line is a great smoke for the money. I like the Corojo #5 best.

Glad your back up to snuff buddy, I agree completely about the Gran Habano's, was talking to catfish last night on the phone and they came up in the conversation, I like both the 3's and 5's.

Re: Back to Normal I think

I knew you would get better. I had your particular problem about two months before picking up my first stogie. It's a very strange feeling and drives you loopy.

Welcome back!
