I found that once I have been consistent for a good while, my metabolism gets super-effiecient and I don't really have to diet as hard.

somehow I dont take that as a compliment.....graduated h.s. at 128...now 185 after 12 years of inconsistent lifting when I was in med school.

Well I have been cutting the carbs a bit, more lean protein and less starchy veggies. Also dont touch soda or juice (only if the juice is a 100% fruit juice)
Nothing with fructose or corn syrup of any kind. Once I get the diet going I am good I hate the cardio thats the problem so I try to just move from work out to work out to keep the heart rate up thats my cardio.

I think I'm the leanest I've ever been right now...but I'm still not totally happy because I have the stupid excess in the mid-section where the fat likes to accumulate.
