As a photographer, I respect what they are trying to do, but on closer inspection I think they could have done a lot better. LL actually does a pretty good job paying tribute to MM, but the photographers skills are sub-par IMO.

I think there could have been a lot more thought put into the composition of the photographs. Throwing a blond wig on a nude model and covering her with transparent cloth is not really my idea of MM. It would have been better (IMO) if they tried to recreate MM's 1953 Playboy appearance. Oh well. I actually give LL some credit for trying to be artistic with her choice in nudity instead of just acting in the next "American Pie: University of Loose Morals" film.

That's what I was thinking, take away the jugs and she is fairly boyish looking. She is just rough and not .... elegant and sultry like Marilyn.

I think that is something missing with a lot of these stars / model / sex symbols today, there is no mystique, everything is just nasty in your face.
