Being that I am originally from Cali, I have always wanted to take your exact Ranger and lift it six inches with some baja suspension and fenders. Probably roll with some 33s.

Buddy of mine has a Ranger with over 300k on the original motor, the body has actually rusted completely and its still running.

I wish I could pre-runner it. However half the reason for this truck is to haul motorcycles. Pushing a 550lb bike into a lifted truck sucks ass.

One of the reasons I got the Ranger was how long the buggers last. I see 20 year old Rangers all the time out on the road. In fact it's consistently the oldest Ford vehicle I see.

Jump seats are small fold down seats so you can sit in the back of the trucks cab sideways.

Aries, thanks for the explanation and the photo. That is great. I had never seen those before. This is quite like the fold-out seats in a theater or concert hall so you sit on the aisle. Very tricky.
