Dealership called, they crashed my truck.
I bought an 08 Ford Ranger (2wd, supercab) last weekend. It's coming in from another dealership so I haven't even seen yet.

The good news is they aren't even bothering to try to sell it to me. For the same price they are selling me an identical truck, except with the added option of tilt steering and cruise control. And I get to pick it up tomorrow instead of Wednesday.

Basically a $400 option for free. The truck also doesn't come with jump seats in the back, so now they are going to sell me those at cost. I think I did ok.

how much are the jump seats?
I would still be pissed about paying more than you wanted to and would try to get them for free...

Yay, I got it. Everything went smoothly. Props to Frontier Ford here in San Jose.

edit: Oh yeah, so I asked about the crash. It happened at their sister dealership so they aren't sure what happened, but they think that they may have just sold it for more.
