an unfortunate fact -- we live and learn by contrast: one usually truly appreciates the "good" after experiencing the "bad".

Your a lucky man to have a spouse of 29 years to share your good times and bad times with. Sorry to hear about the rough patch but with the help and support of your wife things will work out for the best. I'll keep you and your family in my thoughts.
