The reason why I'm so hell bent on getting this camera is that it works with all my SLR Minolta lenses (in case anyone was wondering).

Called my store and they didn't have any in stock - I asked him to check stores close by and he said he "checked two districts and nobody has them." Bummer.

Would an A200 be any good to you? It's suppose to still use the Minolta A-mount. If so the following site has them for $319 with free shipping.

I was never able to find one for the closeout price. I'll probably end up getting a A200 sometime soon but still looking.
