if nuts are ok, how about a dildo?
how about playboy centerfolds spray painted onto the side of the truck?
if all this is ok, we might as well let people walk around naked in public, too.

there has to be a line drawn somewhere...

Tell them to drive through the west side of Detroit blasting the music with all the N-words, and see how long they last.

Enough of my opinion.

Yeah, no murdering, raping, stealing allowed....damn government!

With my mother being a middle school teacher I have seen the decline of morals and respect. I teach my children to respect others. I would have taken a good beating for some of the stuff I hear now coming out of kids mouths.

If they kept the tinted windows up, I guess the lyrics wouldn't be a problem.

The government is infringing on too many aspects of the public citizens private life.
Not only if it infringes upon someone elses safety but also if it infringes on someone elses rights. It is a free country for every body, not just 1 person. I am 26 and 6 years ago I would have chuckled at the hanging nuts.

But now at 26 with a Wife and 2 Daughters, I don't wanna pull up to a stoplight and have my little girls ask me what is hanging from that truck. Or when I pull up to a vehicle that is playing loud vulgar "music", I don't want my little girls repeating that stuff. Those are my "rights". If you wanna play that music and listen to it, then do that, but play it so you can hear it, not so loud everyone has to. Because it is my "right" to listen to Johnny Cash and Merle Haggard in my vehicle. And it is my right to not have a pair of nuts staring at me in traffic. Sometimes the Government has to stand up and speak for the "Majority" in this country who think these things are unacceptable.

One thing that I have realized in over 6 years of LE is that the people who are playing this music and displaying these things on their vehicles are not doing it because they like it. They are doing it to bring attention to themselves, and to try and create a status symbol for themselves. This is true, believe me.

Lastly, let me say this, and I can't say this seriously enough, the lack of respect in the younger generation is very disturbing and it is not improving. This is why I respond so strongly to these types of topics, because I don't just see these things on the news or here in there in traffic, this is a big problem I face everyday. Icehog could vouch for this also, because he stands a post on the Thin Blue Line same as I do.

BTW Freight Train, this isn't a personal attack on you, please don't take it that way. I just wanted to comment on your post. I don't throw pooh at other Gorillas for their opinions, I just get fired up on these issues.

Now replace music and nuts with cigars.

Smokers get irate about the smoking laws, but don't gives about others around them.

P.S. - Truck Nutz are despicable and the company can't go bankrupt soon enough.

I actually do, if I'm gonna smoke around other people I ask everyone. If someone as a problem, I don't light up. Simple as that. My relationships and respect for other people supercedes my enjoyment of cigars.I think part of the stigma of Cigar smokers comes from those who don't respect others.
