Anyone in the communications (two way radio) business?

Looking for anyone who is in the radio communications business or has a contact.

My dept uses Kenwood TK-3140 portable radios and 2 of them have all of a sudden gone crazy on me. I need to get these either fixed or replaced ASAP. I know these things run over $500/each new, so I am looking to see if they can be fixed first. Both power on, but one doesn't TX and the other doesnt TX/RX.

PM me...any help is greatly appreciated.

Contact your local amateur radio club (ARC). This web page can help you to find contact info. http://www.arrl.org/FandES/field/club/clubsearch.phtml

I find that some amateurs (hams) can fix about anything and even more have a great deal of experience with commercial rigs. At least in my local club it is like that.
