Anyone ever been to the Newport Aquarium in Kentucky?

I'm trying to plan a trip there this summer with the family and am wandering if anyone has any experience with the area. I would like to know where the best place to stay would be. I'm looking for the middle to upper level here as far as hotels go. Don't like to stay in dumps.

Also, on a side note, any good cigar shops in the area? I have to ask.

The Aquarium is very nice. There are a number of good restaurants nearby. The Party Source has a very nice humidor, and an incredible variety of foods and drinks(of the alcohol variety!) Also a decent soft drink selection as well. Across the river you have Cinci that has two downtown tobacconists- Strauss and Cinci Tobacconist. I have been to neither.

The hotel I'd recommend for you is the Radisson Hotel Cincinnati Riverfront in Covington.

I imagine you'll also take in a ballgame or two?
