They are Swarovsky Crystals. Diamonds would cost a whole lot more than $4.8 million.
No one person owns this car. It was created for a car show.

There were not any 500gt's made until 67 and only 1 proto type convertible that year. The good news is they made 402 in 68 and 335 in 69 but Ford did away with many of the good things Shelby did to the car for those 2 years.

Since we are talking about Shelby it brings up the car I want to build which is the MKIII with a 427

When I was 16 gas was under a $1 and I only had $5 in my pocket. Now gas is $4 and I have $100 in my pocket

Re: Your Dream Car

Maserati Gran Turismo S

Fast, classy, cozy, bold, refined and from everything stated all the normal GTs issues are fixed. Looks alone sell the car, but driving it just mmmmm.

With my life I could get away with it as a daily, assuming I could afford it lol.

Another one would be a original Lotus Europa JPS

Re: Your Dream Car

Here's this weekend's Herf/Port Drinking; two pretty cool cars (not to float my own boat). The Jag is me, the Maserati is my friend's.

The Q-Porte is a reliable car, more so than my friend's MB CLS. I owned a Maserati a while back and it was a headache, but they are better now. Especially if you go for automatic or manual. F1 trans can be expensive. I would prefer the XKR over the Gran Turismo, but twist my arm on either one.

Wow, that is an incredible car. Are you looking at one "in the lot" or going to order your own?

Re: Your Dream Car

I learned to drive in one of these:

A white 1976 with performance headers and exhaust. What a blast to drive. I would love to get one and they are pretty cheap and cheap to keep as a weekend driver. A realistic dream, if I only had the room.
