I golf vicariously through my son. Why just this morning I hauled him and his golf team buddy to the course to play in a qualifier. Naturally I kept driving on to work. Being all growed up can suck some days.

Heres another question for our golfers!!!

which came first, golfing or cigars?

I would imagine if you were into golf, it would only be a matter of time before someone handed you a stogie to try... same with just being a cigar smoker, its a matter of time before a fellow gorilla invites you for 9 or 18 holes... so which came first for you?

balls
shaft
stroke
bag
birdies
ball washer

Not to mention having a young boy hold your bag for you while you put it in the hole.

You guys worry me.

I've smoked far longer than I've played golf; and my introduction to golf had nothing to do with cigars. I quickly realized, however, that the two go extremely well together (even better if you throw in a couple cases of beer).

Might have golfed (walked the course chasing lost balls) a total of five times. Only shot I have is a trick shot. Ball goes straight for about 100 yards, then makes an abrupt right turn and proceeds another 100 yards into the woods or across the parking lot by the clubhouse.

I spent many hours at a driving range perfecting that shot. My brother that golfs every day doesn't belive me.

So I guess my answer is 'no'.
