How many of us actually golf??

Cigars and Golf are like wine and cheese... or more classily put, penis and vagina. (bad form, bad form ) Dispite my one and only Golf lesson being held next to Joe Freakin Pesci (who was also taking lessons) i wasnt hooked. not that i disrespect the sport or the fans and players, i just dont play myself.

so is this stogie/golf cliche as accurate as Cigar Affic. and the media make it seem to be?

I golf atleast once a week sometimes twice. I love it. Cigars,golf and away from the office.

Not a member of any club. I enjoy playing the four local courses that are only a 10-15 minute drive from my home or office.

I've been golfing way longer than I've been smoking cigars. Three years ago I had an 11.2 handicap but since then my time on the course has gone way down. This past year I played only 4 or 5 rounds. But I still love the game with a passion. In fact, it's the only professional sport I try to keep up on these days.

I only go to the driving range. At this point I don't feel I'm ready yet to hit the links but I'm getting better. I should take some lessons but they're kinda expensive

I try to play at least once a week. Ocassionally, Tres-putt and I will get together for a DFW CS Golf Herf

Too busy and too tired to go play on the weekend, and schedule is so nasty during the week to try. My senior year in high school we would always cut out after lunch and head to the course though. W/O stogies of course because we werent even legal enough to buy them

I fall into this catagory too. But hey, beer, cigars, and golf, with a little piece and quiet. Can you beat that?

I'm with Spagg. I don't golf that often, but enjoy it. I got back into golfing this summer. Smoking a cigar while golfing has actually helped my score. Before, I would get ticked off, cuss, spit, throw things on a bad shot. Now, since cigars are a time of relaxation for me, I don't care if I make a bad shot. Move on to the next shot and get back to that cigar!

Actually, I'm wanting to get a new set (to me) of clubs next spring and golf a little more frequently next year. Just public courses for me. I doubt private courses would want me digging up their golf course!

I love the game, even though I'm not that good. The problem is I just don't get enough time to play regularly. I think I only got in 4 or 5 rounds this summer . Makes it tough to get better.
