What happens is PR firms send off folks to popular forums and message boards and have them post topics (usually something sounding vaguely sincere, like this one) about a film or product they're promoting. In this case, Sleeper Cell is a new series on Showtime that starts up soon (and has also, coincidentally, started a massive PR campaign these past two weeks), and this poster/spammer was basically "planting the seed".

I actually did this for a game company called Ubi-Soft for a game called COLD FEAR last year. They paid me a pretty handsome sum to go off and hit up some message boards/forums/etc and talk about this "great new game" I played. Yes, I was once a spam whore...but only for a month.

I agree. People need to get real. You have a better chance getting killed in an accident on the way to work than to die in a terrorist attack. In the end, what does it matter. Dead is dead and we are all going to die. Being blown to smithereens has got to be better than rotting in a hospice with cancer for months, or gasping for your last breath from emphazima (sp?) or some other crap. Live life to the fullest and try to be as positive as posible. Do good for as many people around you as you can and stop worrying about your end. It will happen soon enough and there is little that you can do to prevent it anyway.
