To get into BIOS, you're usually given an option when you first turn on the computer, something along the lines of press Esc or press F1 to enter Setup. Setup is the same as your BIOS setup. You want to enter the Setup and jot down the information on the first page. If there is nothing there, look for a menu that shows some type of setup information. There should be a line in there with your BIOS version number.

Well, OF COURSE, I'm all ready to uninstall the drive, and I decide to try the DVD ROM on several different DVDs. Yep...

Me, Myself and Irene, Men In Black II, Star Wars III, and even Mid-South Wrestling Greatest Matches Volume 1 worked like a charm. I tried it on both VLC and WMP. This thing is just like a child; sometimes it won't play, and sometimes it spins like a champ. I suppose I'll leave her alone for now.
