tired but its a good tired. ive felt better today than I have in a while! amazing how quick you recover health wise, on another note portion control on the food and working out, its hard to fight the hunger pains. i was eating 3000 calories a day and not working out. now im eating 2200 calories a day and working out. its intresting. but most of them are false, i used to get bored an eat, so im hoping that will go away.

Re: holy hell i gotta get back in shape

Same thing happened to me last year. I work out 5 days a week with wieghts, but never did cardo much. Now I run 2 miles a day after my work out. But when I really noticed the pounds coming off was a simple thing, I stopped eating bread at dinner! By getting rid of carbs at night and cutting my coke drinking to one a day it's amazing how fast you can get back in shape. I only lost 5 pounds but hey I only wiegh 185, but all 5 pounds was in my gut

Nice workout!! Keep going! Why not try and find a sprint triathlon to go play with? 500 yd swim, 12 mi bike and a 5k. I'm 6'2" 230 and can finish one in about 90 minutes (can't run too good right now), young guy like you should knock it out in no time. Plus they're a blast!

That Hydroxycut Hardcore is the stuff. I used it last summer when getting back into running shape. My bro in law used it as well to get back into I'm not in college and beer/fastfood weight has to come off.shape If you excercise with it weight just falls off. I did not get any jitters or lightheadeness or sour stomach while taking it.

Plus if you ever wondered what your poop would look like pink, you have your answer.

Darb, nice to see a Traverse City guy! I'm from Grand Rapids(well, suburbs), and East Lansing for school, but We've got a place on the West Bay(15 minutes from TC or Sutton's Bay, either way. Where abouts are you at? I'm trying to get back into shape too, gained 10 pounds but havn't lifted, so over 10 in fat, since school got out. Miss those long walks. 135lbs, but I'm only 5'6". Beachable for sure though haha, I was up there during the Pain-in-the-ass Fourth weekend

Based on your second post, your first doesn't seem to add up. Unless the flight of stairs you mention are the ones going to the top of the Empire State Bldg. Good luck on your workout program - but it doesn't sound like you are too far out of shape.

ya, that ride was on a diffrent route than ive been doing, and it kicked my ass too. When i started riding here recently, I could barely do it. Im probably not as out of shape as it sunds but i gained alot of weight and im way out of shape for me.

and it was a pretty big flight of stairs(10 stories)

40lbs in three months?!?
Wow!
I did 20 in three months once.
I'm in the same boat as you were. 260lbs, and hoping to drop down to 220 or less.
