Save money shipping cigars!

This is how I save $$$ on shipping without using PRIORITY MAIL.

#1 - Ship on Friday for delivery on Monday.
Even though you and I don't normally work on Sat & Sun, the post office does. Yes sir....those trucks are a moving on Sundays.....just not to individual homes!!! ;-)

Items- Bubble Envelop, Bubble wrap, cardboard box, scissors, tape

#2- Get a Bubble envelope 7.5 x 10 or 8 x 12.

#3 -5 finger bag w/ 5 cigars then wrap in bubble wrap

#4 - Get a cardboard box. A brown cardbaord box that you have around the house. Cut 2 pieces about 75% the size of the bubble envelope.

#5 - Place 5 finger bag (with cigars in slots) that are now wrapped in bubblewrap in between the 2 pieces of cut box making a sandwich. Tape top piece of cardboard to bottom piece to keep cigars from slidin around.

#6 - Insert sandwich into bubble wrap envelope.

Your layers are bubble wrap, cardboard box, bubble wrap, cigars, bubble wrap, cardboard box, bubble wrap.

Pretty snug right?

Address the envelope and put FRAGILE on the front and on the back.

If mailing 5 cigars your cost for first class shipping and delivery confirmation will be less than $3.00 and will normally arrive in 2 days because of the DC#.

Wow this is a really great post....someone needs to do a group buy for the 5 finger bags though I need some....Would it b ok to ship the sticks in the CI bags instead of the 5 fingers?

I'm sure it would. I think I've done it before....just don't let them roll around in the bag.

When I worked at the post office some of the guys really did toss the packages marked fragile..if they bounced 3 times off the ground they were good to go into a truck..
