I have heard that more than once in my life...lol

The drama continues, my wife called me a while ago, and said she is coming home early. I am happy she'll be home tonight, but now I have to rush home and clean the house before she get's home. I planned on doing this late tonight....but now I'll have to hurry home and recruit the 6 and 7 years olds in to the mad dash.

I used to, but that was before I told my dr he could either give me Zanax or testify on my behalf saying I asked for them when I killed someone.

Seriously though one thing I have noticed here lately since adding the stress of school on top of my already stressful job is if I don't take at least one "me" night a week and enjoy a smoke and some bourbon I get real irritable. Its amazing what a few hours on the porch at sunset can do for your mental health.

if this is an ongoing thing, i would recommend you make an appointment with your doctor and see if you're suffering from depression or a similar condition. mental conditions are no laughing matter, but they're very treatable.

in the meantime, though, just relax and do something you really like, a cigar, a drink (just one), maybe your favorite movie or some video games. and keeping a journal is a great thing too, venting whatever frustration you are having onto the page is very productive. feel better, man

I'm with the guys who recommended exercise. Punching bag, running, biking, or my personal favorite - powerlifting. I'm not a big guy either, so when I say that I love powerlifting, people look at my skinny butt like I'm crazy. But there's something about getting the inner caveman out by throwing around a bunch of weight. It's a total stress reliever for me... I'm too tired afterward to be stressed!

Have you tried thinking of exactly what it is you are mad at? Sometimes I get pissed off and after a while I don't even know why I was in the first place. Maybe if you go through a mental list of everything effecting you right now you can get an idea....then talk yourself down and realize you are only put on this earth for a few short years and it probably wasn't so you could work your ass off, or stress over bills or whatever. If that doesn't work, tell your wife that you pissed off and she will no doubt help you...she knows you better than anyone else does.
Get help if it continues, seriously. Sometimes you just need a new point of view.

Maybe you need to buy a $20 cigar and go fishing this weekend.
