Gotta work on aligning the doors. Great grill though, I love the cast iron grates.

Wow, that's purty! Very attractive. Good thing you took a picture. It will never be as clean as it is in that picture

I have the plain black three burner Weber and it's been a pretty good grill. I need to open up the burner holes on the end away from the tank with one of my numbered drill bits as that end of the grill is a bit cooler.

I will have to watch that, thanks for the tip. I know my old Weber had hot/cold spots.

Re: Bought myself a present....

We went to Billings to shop for grills about 8 years ago and this is where I bought my black Weber. They had a couple of giant, stainless steel Webers with side burners. You'd have to wear sunglasses if you looked at it in bright sunlight. This thing was so big, it should have had it's own engine and transmission. The cost was $2,500!

I asked the salesgirl, "who on earth would spend that kind of money on a grill?" She said she'd worked there quite awhile and had sold 5---all in one week. A buy bought one and within 7 days, four of his neighbor's had purchased the same grill. Man, I'm glad I'm not the kind of guy that tries to "keep up with the Jones's!" But, I suppose their food tastes a lot better than what I cook on my grill
