Re: How I captured the Christmas Spirit

Thanks for sharing with us Dave. I wish you and your wife all the best of luck. It sounds scary but I'd be willing to bet it will turn out better than you think. I'm also glad to hear the Magistrate was kind and FAIR enough to give your daughter a break. Those are the kinds of breaks that "good" people like you and your daughter deserve and a very nice gesture on your part to help out the woman with her son!!

Merry Christmas to you and your family Dave!!!

Re: How I captured the Christmas Spirit

I am moved, and that's not always easy, especially lately. Great story Dave, makes for inspired thoughts and actions.

My prayers are with Jane, and of course, if there is anything I can ever do, you just say the word, and I am there.

Re: How I captured the Christmas Spirit

Dave, I think you really did capture the Christmas spirit.. Christmas is about unselfish giving. I am not talking about gifts to our families and friends under the tree. I am talking about giving to the weary and those in need. Just like how Christ gave to those in need. Maybe without even realizing it, you did what Christ would have done. You gave, and showed love by your actions. Well done!

Hold on to that Christmas Spirit..

I will lift up your wife in prayer...

Re: How I captured the Christmas Spirit

Oh man I've been going like crazy and just got online. Maybe it's another holiday blessing that this medical condition was discovered early. That's the way I'm going to look at this and figure you and yours to come through with flying colors.
