What did everyone get for xmas?

It's early xmas morning here right now, and I spent Xmas eve BBQing seafood, prawns and lobster on a NEW, Shiny Propane 2 burner BBQ(much nicer than the old kettle i had), a few books and satellite TV...i'm spending this early morning watching the NYG/Washington game on FOX tv international. Been a long, long time since I've watched football on a sunday morning.

I must have been good this year!

I got my wife perfume she likes, some clothes, Pretty Woman: the director's cut, the new tracy chapman cd, and a new black purse(to go with the dozen or so other purses she has...ha!)

What about everyone else?

Well, I'm stuck in a part of the world that's a little behind you, so it's not even late Christmas Eve yet. But it sounds like you had a good haul, and a good time! No idea what I'm getting tomorrow, I'm really not expecting much, maybe just some new shoes, mine are about worn through (I just keep wearing em cuz they're uber comfortable). Tonight will be tons of fun with the family though. Merry Christmas to you and to all the other gorillas here!

Its almost midnight Christmas Eve here. My kids are all excited. They should be Santa has got everything on their list.

I dont realy care what anyone bought me. I just love to see my kids so happy opening their presents and enjoying Christmas ! That special feeling will be my best Christmas gift.

Would your parents consider adopting someone in their mid to late forties?

I'm with you Richard, our kids are grown but we have JT our grandson living with us so we can still play Santa Claus with him and its always special. Besides we bought ourselves a bunch of stuff this year because we were almost good this year.

Glad you guys are having a great christmas. I can't wait to see my family in the morning. As for me, I bought my fiancee a book and a couple of little things. We are moving her on the 28 and christams is turning on her electric, cable, etc. It is great to be able to enjoy christmas with just seeing family. Here's wishing you all a merry christmas and remember to hug the hell out of your family and eat way too much.

Re: The Club Stogie "What'd you get/give for Xmas?" thread...

Gave: World At War 30th anniversary DVD collection to my stepfather, a window birdfeeder and garden ornament for mom, and a very nice cigar-related accessory for a friend who might be reading this, and who hasn't opened the gift yet, so I have to be discreet.

Got some new cycling gear from my folks, so I can get my fat ass into shape again - new shorts, jersey and cleats. Used to be pretty good, but have "fallen off the wagon" in recent times.

Got myself a new IBM X41 tablet PC, because it's slicker than snot, and practical, too. Oh, and by the way, 3 Nanners to go along with my 500th post here.

Re: The Club Stogie "What'd you get/give for Xmas?" thread...

Oh I got some stuff but the best gift I received this year was having my youngest daughter and her husband come home for the first time in over a year and bringing with her my newest grandson... about 4 months old.

He is stationed at Ft. Bragg and my wife had visited them in August shortly after he was born but I had too much going on at work to get loose and had only seen photos or videos until I picked them up at the airport a couple of weeks ago.

Friday evening for the first time all three of my grandsons were present at home... what a great Christmas!!!

Well I got a nice gold bracelet, "The Bible" By Min Ron Nee Some new shirts and my mum also bought me another cigar book, Cigar Cool it's called.

Got the wife the complete Buffy The Vampire Slayer on DVD, she's a big Buffy fan, a new dress, some blouses and some other clothes as well.

Kids had a great time and now we're looking at building a new house again only after just moving into this one cause I think we need more room all of a sudden........ kidding, but now we got a pile of toys here we have to find a place to keep them.

Re: The Club Stogie "What'd you get/give for Xmas?" thread...

Well lets see my Christmas turned out to be ok considering being stuck at work most of the time both days. It rained all day on Christmas so no cigar for me while visiting

On to the gifts.

My wife gave me stocking stuffers for xmas: PJs,nice earbud for my cell phone, very expensive shaving cream, and the Peanuts DVD Holiday box set .

From everyone else I recieved a number of things, more PJs LOL, a nice columbia fleece, slippers to relax in while smoking a stogie, shirts, you know the usual.

Best gift was the money that when added together at the end of the day equals 200$.

So tomorrow I am off and it's off to the local B&M to spend away!!!!!
