Wow. Good thing he is a former President and can say whatever he wants.
Most people lose their jobs for saying things like that.
Sportscasters, radio broadcasters, you name it...but not President's.

It's funny...my wife hadn't even heard about this, and she is a news hound. I heard about it last night on an AM radio station! They are certainly trying to keep this on the down.

Isn't it strange that news that would harm the Left party seems to have to come from the AM stations, while news that will hurt the Right comes from the Newspaper, TV, Cable, FM first?

Could you imagine if Imus, Rush, Hanity, ect. said this. Of coarse the context matters, the context being when a flaming lib says it, its indearing but if an evil right-wing conservative said it, holy crap I don't even want to think about the fall out. Oh. how I love the drive-bye media!

i dont think he ment the way people make it seem. it sounds like he was going to talk about when he was a kid/little boy because then he goes on saying "growing up with his mom".

i really dont think he was calling him now a little boy or anything. he was just talking about his childhood. he shouldve said something like " once a little a boy growing up with his mom, etc" .... i think he just slipped up with his story and words ..... the mans old! it happens! lol

i dont think its "news" worthy. which is probably why we didnt hear about it.

It's not "news" worthy, only because a liberal said it. If anyone with an inkling of leaning right of center had said it, you can bet it would have been front page news, with a head hunt to follow.

It isn't newsworthy because there is no story here. If you listen to the whole sentence it's obvious he's talking about a boy who grew up to have the chance to become the nominee, yada yada. If you listen to what he said just before, he talked about the positive impact Obama's candidacy has already had across the world.

I'm all for taking the mainstream media to task for crucifying conservatives while giving liberals a pass, but it ain't there this time. Let's pick a better battle!
