Re: I'm a Sci-Fi Junky of the 50

I hope to some day get one of those fancy interocitors, in kit form, in the mail...

Of the 2486 components comprising an interocitor, only three are named:

Bead condenser (model #: AB-619)
Cathermin tube with inindium complex of +4
Intensifier disk

The instructions accompanying the components also caution that no interocitor part can be replaced, and to bear this in mind while assembling. ("Use only Genuine Interocitor Parts."-Tom Servo MST3K robot)

Re: I'm a Sci-Fi Junky of the 50

I see you enjoy "This Island Earth - 1954" as much as I do, excellent Sci-Fi for its time! They where using the concept of "Neutrinos" long before Star Trek...

Re: I'm a Sci-Fi Junky of the 50

MST3K did a wonderful job of introducing classic scifi and horror to a whole new audience.

It is great to watch the oldies every once in a while. A lot of times they are better than some of the dreck they market in theaters today!

Re: I'm a Sci-Fi Junky of the 50

I recognize quite a few on your list. Most of which I viewed on a triple bill Saturday mornings at the Fox Theatre in Ventura, CA. Man, the Tingler was one of the first films that creeped me out. I was also a big fan of Ray Harryhausen. Thanks for the list, since I saw many as a child some of the titles escape memory.
