Seems that Michael Moore is happy Hurricane Gustav is headed to New Orleans

I'm not looking for an excuse for Moore. Although sometimes my politics align with his, I mostly think he's an ignorant loudmouth.

It's people like these that force our political dialog into the toilet.

That said, I don't really see him as rejoicing as much as snarkingly suggesting it was evidence for God. Obviously the side point is that it is dampening the RNC. He did say he "certainly hopes nobody is hurt." So if your going to suggest he was glad about the damage or the harm, you should review that tape. I saw it on Keith Olberman and Keith did give him a look like "Don't go there", but he did.

Would the Focus on the Family people rejoice if the rain had come?

Man that dude MM is a whack job. I have never given him a penny and never will. I hate extremists on either side, they just ruin for regular people. I definetly would be on the right wing side and am religious, but that video was baddie.

I have watched a couple of Mike moores movies....I may not agree with his ideas or tactics...but I do like that he is getting a whole new crowd talking about a lot of issues....

Have to disagree with you here. Focus on the Family is a long time program that has been promoting true family values.

The video about praying for rain was a joke and was removed from the website after complaints and Dr. Dobson apologized for it. When has Michael Moore ever apologized for his crap.

I watched the first part of that and threw up a little bit in my mouth. I do NOT agree with his politics at all, but I don't care who the person is, it is wrong to be glad that a potential natural disaster was going to happen. Even though he doesn't want to see anybody get hurt, I couldn't imagine even being the least little bit excited that this disaster will change the outcome of another event I didn't like. I hold the media that let this nut case on the air responsible. We do need to hear both sides in any debate especially in an election, but I will not be a party to anybody that will get excited about a event that will harm others just because it disrupts the people on the other side of the argument.

Sorry about raging on but this really irritates me.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the people in the way of this storm.
