I had not heard about the "rain prayer". You just stated that they prayed for "rain" and did not mention the "rain of biblical proportions" so I will have to agree that if they prayed for that then yes it is every bit as terrible.

However I must add that although many people believe that all prayers are answered what they were basically doing is hoping. I do think there is a difference in "hoping for something" and "knowing something" is gonna happen and rejoicing about it. With that said I have no doubt that theses nut cases would have rejoiced if there would have been a major flood in Denver.
