More Damn Tests!!

Saw the urologist today.....prostate slightly enlarged.....now he wants me to have a CT scan ( and I'm allergic to the dye they normally use), scope work PSA bloodwork and more urine tests. Ok I says, but I'm only home for 2 weeks....can knock off the PSA and urine tomorrow....waiting on hospital for the other 2 .
Worse part was they told me to come to office with a full bladder.....sure....that was a fun 45 min drive then find out it wasn't needed.
I need a drink and a cigar!!!

why is he wanting CT and scope? PSA is enough. If it's not elevated, then no problem. Not knowing your history, CT is excessive and excessive waste of money. Scope, ok, if you're 50+ or have personal/family history of GI problems.

I didn't pass the kidney stones....no more pain....so we don't know where they are.

I'm feeling good right now, last time I had scope work done they knocked me out he says they don't do that anymore, just give you a local ....and then he told me where.....I said your me right.....nope he's not.

Oh, and Al....you'll get yours too
