She's a chick. We never know what they're into.
But really she likes movies, wine, dancing, drinking. Ya know, the usual stuff. |

Re: Taking the lady out for a night on the town
This is very true, I realized that soon after I typed it.
I usually have lots of luck with a place offering local live music, even better if you can find a place that is on a beach (if youre close to one) so you can get away for some alone time if need be. If she is into wine you might check around with local wine stores to see if any of them have any type of event going on. Lots of places have tasting or even classes on weekends. If all else fails go high school and go put put golfing!!! |

Get a convertible and drive around replaying Sarah Palin"s speech and watch the liberals go crazy. I've been married almost 30 years so a creative night is weeding the garden from back to front instead of front to back. Have fun!

Thanks for the suggestions. I forgot to mention that she hates the beach. I like it but she hates it. Go figure. The wine shop idea is a good 1. We just might do that, there is a new wine and cheese shop that we've been wanting to check out. I was also thinking of taking her to the Griffith Observatory but they close at 10 and I dont get off of work until 7, and we have to eat dinner. Maybe we could squeeze it in, who knows!?!?!? |

Downtown Pasadena is great for walking and people watching. If she is into art the Norton Simon museum is open until 8or9. Lots of great coffee shops and stores on Colorado Blvd.

Also a nice idea. We were gonna go to the Playhouse 7 Laemmle but we couldn't find a good movie that was playing. Old Town gets a little old when you live here ya know?
