We are home and all went as expected with the surgery today. Got moved up a week.

Got there at 7:00 am. They took her from us at 8:15. Surgery at 10:45-12:15. Removed a fairly good sized lump. We picked Jane up at the door and brought her home at 3:00.

Everyone is crashed now. Follow-up meeting with the pathology next Thursday and we are hopeful that it shows no additional surgery will be required.

Heartfelt thanks for the kind words and prayers to all of you.

Echoing an earlier post, the Cleveland Clinic is right up there in the top places you want to be if you are dealing with cancer. I know ya'll are gratified at the good early news, and your family will be in our thoughts and prayers for more of the same in the coming days and weeks.
