I played freshman hockey at Dartmouth (I was in college when freshmen did not play on the varsity) and tried to combine it with football which can be done in the Ivies but when it came time for Varsity cuts, I was a better football player than hocky defenseman. As I said before, best wishes to Al Jr. Paul

Congrats Al, that's quite the accomplishment for your son. College hockey may not be a big sport around the nation, but it's very closely followed in Minnesota. Wish your son good luck for us, and I'll be rooting for Penn State as long as they don't run into my Gophers.
