Shout out to Al's son Al :) Future Hall of Famer
[SIZE=3]Yup you saw it posted here first Al (AHC4353) Al's son Al (yup I am confused too, lets go with Jr.) cracked the line up of his College Team in his freshman year.
On heading out to school it was a very nervous and somewhat emotional father that dropped his son off, he had hopes that Jr would have a shot at making the team and was a very proud father. Seems like all the hard work and great family support the Jr obviously gets paid off and he made the final cut of Penn States Hockey team. Jr. will be wearing #26 on his back. Here are a couple other 26's both past and present that have been in the hockey world Mats Naslund Martin St Louis Paul Statsny Peter Statsny James Vandermeer Joel Perrault Stephan Yelle Frank Mahovlich Mike Krushelnyski Looks like Jr, is in good company to me. Take a minute and let the Al's (both Sr and Jr) know how proud the jungle is of their accomplishment. Congrats Al's I think its awesome and hell even I am a little proud of Jr. keep us updated on the teams progress. Perhaps this is not too distant in Jr's future  [/SIZE] |

Thanks for the post Shawn. To say his mom and I are proud of him is an understatement. He has worked his tail off his whole life for this. Made the sacrifices and held the GPA that it takes to succeed. Yes, we are very proud of him.
As a freshmen he won't see much ice. However, I'm sure this year he will learn the teams systems and get bigger, stronger, faster. This should position him well for the next three years. Again thank you for the post and thanks to all of CS for your thoughts and well wishes. (Foot note: He has a little brother who plays as well. One day both in PSU Blue/White? ) |

I didn't understand a thing in this post as growing up in Lousiana, hockey was strange game the Yanks played on ice no less. On the other hand - WAY TO GO JR.!!!!!! Hopefully it will be a long and healthy career.
