I think L.A. may have 'ya beat as far as price gouging goes since we use our cars so damn much but I've only seen lines at Costco.

What you poor folks are going through is ridiculous. Reminds me of the '80's.

Well today I hit a new low (or high), I paid $4.50 for premium (which my car doesn't need) just because it was the only gas I could find

Last week we had gas go from 3.86 to 4.29. It made me sick cause I was going to get gas earlier that day but I waited. I came back through in the evening with 1/8 of a tank and found every station with cars into the street.

Speaking of this I should load up before I head to WI tomorrow. I know it will spike again it's been getting low for a few days.

Last week before the hurricane hit, here in louisville all of a sudden, this rumor shot off about gas going up to 5 dollars! Gas did come close at 4.50 but a few days later dropped around 3.89.
Then we got hit with residual winds that left ~185,000 without power. That certainly helped create a small gas shortage in this area.
Luckily now things are just about back to normal and gas is sitting at 3.82 right now. But who knows what it will be in 5 minutes.
