No, officer... I have no idea who took two 25 foot sections of this hose, filled them with sand, and put them across the street. Why would you ever do that 4 times in a week?

Camcorder. If you don't have one buy an old VHS one. Get it all on tape and then drop them off at the local station every so often.

Here in Northern Virginia we have become the speed bump capital of the US. Pretty rare to take any cut through a residential area without finding them. All it takes is a signed petition by "x" amount of residents on the street and any side streets off of it.

Re: Fast drivers in neighborhood

This same situation seems to happen just about everyday when I cross the street to get the mail.

I just walk nice and slow across the street and if I see someone is hauling a$$ around the corner I'll just stop in the middle of the road or slow my walk to a crawl. Not the smartest idea in the world by any means but it slows them down for the moment usually. Unless its one of those women talking on the phone, text messaging, and trying to find something in her pursue or should I say over night bag with how much crap they put in there.(And they wonder why they can't find something in there.) Those are the ones you have to watch out for because heaven knows they won't see you or you children until its too late.

Or. Trash pick up day is rather fun as well. Gives you a chance to check out the handling of cars first hand at high speeds. You try and explain a smashed front end, hood, and shattered windshield to a police officer in a neighborhood and all you hit was a trash can doing the speed limit.

Note: I am not suggesting this nor advising it anyway, this is just my

Not where I work, Ron...the village won't put speedbumps on public streets, as they allegedly wreak havoc with snow removal.
