I usually do pretty well at it Tom. Patience is a gift of mine. It just seems like every time I get the pocket Aces I get beat.

It happens. If you bet your aces on the turn & he raised, that would have been an indication, especially if he didnt raise pre-flop or raise the flop. If he was first to act & you raised him & he re-raised, that would have been another indication to muck it. Never become married to a losing hand (at least I keep telling myself that LOL)

Actually I was in control of the bet and was pushing the chips in. He was just smiling and taking them, kinda like the old lady when she wants to go shoe shopping. I ended up finishing 4th in the tourney. He knocked my stack down pretty good so I ended up going all in with suited King Jack a couple of hands after. Was short stack so I figured that was as good a time as any to try and make a stand.

Nothing wrong with 4th if its in the money. I would have done the same with KJ suited & shortstacked.
Sitting quietly & letting others do all the betting for me is a wonderful thing when possible.
