USMC from 1980 to 1986. Personnel Admin/Service Record Book specialist. Stationed at Parris Island, I&I Duty, MCAS Beaufort, SC and Gitmo and once again to PI as an instructor at Basic Admin School and member of base pistol team.

The Marine Corps, from 1984 to 1988 then I was called up for the first Desert Storm and was back in 1990 to 1991.

USMC 0331 76-79 Camp Geiger,and Camp Lejeune. Med Cruise 78.

Back in 85-88 Motor T mechanic and back to beautiful Camp Lejeune NC.

No military service for me.tried 6 times to join but for various reasons never made it in.I am proud of our Troops and will do whatever I can to support them.

U.S. Coast Guard, Jan. 1972 - Sept. 1993
First duty station after basic was aboard the CGC Staten Island (WAGB-27 a wind class icebreaker that was actually first launched in 1936.
Nine months at a Long Range Aids-to-Navagation station.
The rest of the time was at various District offices and units around the country.

United States Marine Corps. 1992-1996. Parris Island, Okinawa and then, of all places, Pennsylvania. Proud to have served and would do it again.

I was in the U.S. Army 1981-2004 for 22 years, 11 months, and 29 days. Enlisted and Officer. Iraq 2003, 2004. And three times since. Got to see a fair part of the wortd and do things I never thought I would. For you swabbies, I once crossed the line and met Neptunis Rex and his trusty scribe, Davey Jones (160.00.0E between Siapan and Fiji).

Dad was in the USN 1942-1967. Enlisted and Officer.

Dad's father was U.S. Army. Enlist in 1917. Got out in 1919.

Mom's father was USN. Enlisted in 1915. Got out in 1922.

Big Blue Since 86' and still having fun. Joined as a B-52 mechanic but retrained and I am now a medic. Stationed overseas for the last 12 years and I will rotate to the land of round door knobs next year to prepare for retirement and a new career...
