If I had been in line, I would have restrained him from hurting the girl any further, then sorted out the details. Physical violence in response to words is not acceptable, but I agree this girl probably could use a lesson in how to respect others...especially strangers.

I'm not worked up at all. I'm trying to understand your rational. I don't feel it's acceptable to punch a 16 year old girl in the face, truth be told I'd find it very hard to be physically aggressive towards a woman for any reason and especially a 16 yr old girl who obviously did not assault anyone.

From my point of view Darrell its like this: The guy's already charged up and if you try to stop him you'd better plan on swinging because he sure is. Last time I got in a fistfight it about ended with me going to prison for a very long time but I got really lucky and that didn't have to happen. These days I don't put myself in those situations for anybody least of all some stranger who'd most likely jump in like a wildcat the minute I made any effort to confront the other guy.

The title of this thread should have been "Man wannabe punches underage girl because he wanted his Big Mac before she got hers". IMO he is a coward and I have no use for anyone who condones such idiocy.

I do not condone the event, but there are some issues here.

1. We are at a Mc Donald's on Crenshaw Blvd. Can you say South Central Los Angeles.

2. Getting into a brawl with somebody on Crenshaw Blvd is f***ing suicide. Guns, knives, gangs, and anything else you can get into. Sorry folks, unless I'm defending a family member or a friend, it's not my battle.

Life is different today. People don't use fist anymore. They use guns, knives, and gangs. Unfortunately that creates a very dangerous dynamic. Now a days, you have asses the circumstance very quickly. If you engage, you have know that death is an option. If you don't know that when you engage, you are ignorant and you may have just signed your death warrant.

I'm not pointing any fingers, I'm just telling how things work in SoCal.
