1. We are at a Mc Donald's on Crenshaw Blvd. Can you say South Central Los Angeles.

2. Getting into a brawl with somebody on Crenshaw Blvd is f***ing suicide. Guns, knives, gangs, and anything else you can get into. Sorry folks, unless I'm defending a family member or a friend, it's not my battle.

Life is different today. People don't use fist anymore. They use guns, knives, and gangs. Unfortunately that creates a very dangerous dynamic. Now a days, you have asses the circumstance very quickly. If you engage, you have know that death is an option. If you don't know that when you engage, you are ignorant and you may have just signed your death warrant.

I'm not pointing any fingers, I'm just telling how things work in SoCal.
this is probably a good point. I live a fairly sheltered life haha

I understand not wanting to put oneself in danger, but I can promise you if he had his back turned to me like he did those folks that I could put him on the floor with one good rabbit punch. Would I have done so? I don't know. I wasn't there so I can't say for sure. Although I would like to think I would have done something besides stand and watch it happen.

Anyway my rant was more about some of the comments here. Seems like some here feel that it was ok because she was being mouthy. Let's see, 16 yo = mouthy quite often. Still does not give a grown male (notice I still did not say man) the right to hit a child or a female. Hopefully he is arrested and locked up for a while.

So you throw a full speed rabbit punch and inflict a spinal injury. Paralysis or even death. Was she worth it? That can be pondered during your prison sentence.

Your damned right she was worth it. If the children of our country are not worth taking a risk then who is?
Look bro, I don't want to argue with you. You have your set of morals and I have mine.

I'm not trying to argue with you, I'm just playing both sides of the fence. There is a time to engage and there is a time to sit on the fence.

How, by standing up for what is right? No parent/loved one can be with someone to protect them 24 hours a day. That is when you hope as a human being that others will treat your child as a human being.

I can just imagine this guys conversations with the children that seemed to be his in the video

Child: "Daddy I want pizza."
Guy: "No! We are having McDonalds."
Child: "But dad I want pizza."
Guy: "But I want McDonalds!!!"
Child: "But Da"
Guy: Bam!, Bam!, Bam!(Punching child in face)"I said McDonalds you little moth&%rF&%&ker!!!!

So, just to paraphrase your comments..... It is OK for Society (the large grown male in the video) to assault a mouthy 16 year old (the failed product of her Parents) because her Parents didn't teach her manners?
You condone it? You think the "job" that needs to be done is beating 16 year old kids because they are rude, abhorrent, arrogant, or simply annoying? At what point would you determine this kid deserved beating? Did she swear at him? Did she use some kind of powerful man strength or Ego sapping words? If she had been slightly less rude, would a slap have been OK?

As Tom said, restraint would have been the proper assessment of the situation. In any neighborhood. Risk assessment and management is a personal choice you need to make, and I personally hope there are more morally supportive lions than permissive and reactive lambs patting him on the back. Understood, putting yourself at risk for someone else is a difficult decision, there are those that do it every day because they want to help make their surroundings a better, safer place. Our more dangerous neighborhoods would be better places if the moral apathy that runs rampant in our world would be challenged, and defended, just one instance like this at a time. The guys kids (I presume they were his children) watched Daddy beat a girl and walk away. Will those boys want to be just like Daddy when they grow up? Do they already think it is OK to resort to violence when presented with any kind of confrontation?

If you are like me and breakfast is your favorite meal then I will take you to the best breakfast joint at the beach next weekend.
We are talking a buffet with eggs, grits, country ham, sausage, biscuits, gravy plus several other things.
