Well the city and possibly the county want to end the Myrtle Beach Bike Rally. It seems really stupid to me seeing as how that is approximatly 40% of the counties income. We are in the middle of the Fall Rally right now and it is sad to think that this may be the last one. I have been out today attending some live music shows and of course the girls are always wonderful. It makes me sad to think that a great tradition like this is going to end because the minority of people "don't like the noise". I promise that I will post pics of hot biker chicks and plenty of bike pics before the weekend is out.

I've never been, but my father has rented to various bikers over the past 25 years and has never had an issue.

When the hell will these pantie waisted nit wits realize that nearly every single F up we face is a result of over-regulation due to some hyper-active do-gooder? Next thing you know we will be having a MB bailout bill due to the lost revenue!

Nah, they just said they would raise our taxes

If the county does not pass the same laws then it should be ok. Right now it is just Myrtle beach proper. Most of the good stuff is in Murrells Inlet anyway.

Depends on how they write the laws. Still hate to see it. I know a lot of people who loved the MB bike weeks because they were a little more tame, this one, the one in May, and the black bike week.

Usually pretty tame by bike rally standards but man last night at the AC/DC cover band show it was waaaaaay wild. Of course I was right in the middle and loved every second of it. These guys played their first set for 2 hours and 50 minutes.

Nice! My dad is heading down at some point this fall. No way I'll get a chance to head down (closing on my house a week from tomorrow), but I'm hopeful for this spring.
