Ahh yes--I had super balls---I'm afraid now they are not quite as resilient as they once were, but still just as super

Re: Do you remember these? - A tribute to childhood memories.

For years I have been trying to find out the name of a series of adventure cartoons that used to come on the morning children's show with Mr. Bill on WLOS-13 in Asheville in the mid to late 1960s. It was a black and white, man vs. nature kind of cartoon and always had a Part 1 and Part 2. I have remembered the theme song music my entire life, and have checked every source I can find (YouTube, etc.) for even a hint as to the name of the series of cartoons. Each only lasted about 7-8 minutes. Funny how we remember that kind of stuff but can't remember where we put our sunglasses the other day (ok--my sunglasses...)

Maybe not so much cash, Al ... but you had tons of imagination!

Beats a Wii six ways to Sunday in my way of thinking.

All it took for us was a brick building, a broom handle and an old tattered tennis ball.

Ah, those were the days. Wake up saturday morning, watch He-Man, TMNT, Thunder Cats, Voltron, then play NES for a few hours. And if I had to go anywhere there was also my trusty gameboy

WhenI was a kid we had an Atari. It was just a box with 2 knobs on it. You could play tennis or squash. Tha tv screen was black and white with a line down the middle, two smaller lines on each side of the long line(the players), and a small white dot(the ball). We were absolutly amazed at it. You tried to move your little line in front of the ball so that the ball hit it (by using the knob). Man those were fun times.
