How about the Lemon Twist? Some kid in the neighborhood threw one over the power line and it stayed there for years.

MAN! We would do this for hours in the neighborhood... see who could do it the longest/most times. Too funny...

And the football games? Played them all the time.

Jeez, I've had hundred of these things. Even stuck the one with the prop and long rubberband in the back of my neighbor's hair. She had to get it cut out. I also had to get my ass cut by my dad!

I beat a balsa tree could make half a million of these things. They were so thin and frail.

Computer day in elementary school on the AppleII was the bomb. The floppy discs were actual "floppy" discs, about the size of a dinner plate and paper thin.

Re: Do you remember these? - A tribute to childhood memories.

When I was in third and fourth grade (in Southeastern West Virginia), we were obsessed with MARBLES!

We did not shoot them with our thumbs... instead, we would cut a hole in a coffee can lid or the first Pringles can lids - about the size of a nickel - then we would try to drop a marble from waist high into the other guys can.

If you missed, you lost your marble. If you made it... you got your marble back, PLUS whatever marble you wanted from the other guys can.

Anybody else remember doing this?

Re: Do you remember these? - A tribute to childhood memories.

Ahhh! the good ol' days. Back when ybbou could just about buy fireworks year round. I remember using bottle rockets to make jet cars out of hot wheels and taping the rockets to the balsa gliders. And then there was playing "war" with G.I. Joe figures and cherry bombs.

I still have all my fingers, too.
