Tis the season for a haunt!

Is anyone heading down to any local haunted houses this Halloween season? I love haunted houses and anything horror/scare related. This year we are going to this:

http://haunt.cagreatamerica.com/

It's the 1st year it's being done, since Cedar Fair bought Great America.

What will you guys be doing for Halloween haunts?

Re: Tis the season for a haunt!

Seems like RJT was going to invest in a Haunted House for this season... wonder if he did?

Remember... he had a bunch of "pre-fab" commercials and he wanted help picking one for the Haunt.

Re: Tis the season for a haunt!

When my girls were younger we use to have good fun with it all. Last one was two years ago. Use to enclose and partition off with black plastic the carport, front porch and another 10 by 30 feet of the front. We have all the props - black lights, life size skeletons, smoke machines, chain saws, strobes, masks, blood, electronics, etc etc.

Normally I needed at least two or three helpers to pull it off with small groups going through the maze. Using hidden panels and passages it was very rare that we didn't get a jump from even the stoutest visitor -

Re: Tis the season for a haunt!

I used to go to Knott's Berry Farm for their Halloween Haunt. It was great! Great haunted houses, people decked out in great costumes and trying to scare the living day light of you.

Does the layout of the website look familiar?

Re: Tis the season for a haunt!

I used to go to this one when I lived in Atlanta.
http://www.fearworld.com/haunts.php

It was always terrifying!

I have been very disappointed in the haunted houses in the Nashville area, but this one is new this year and I think I will check it out!

or I may just drive down MLK in East Nashville for a fun time!

Re: Tis the season for a haunt!

I have volunteered in the past for this place http://www.scarethefoodoutofyou.com/mainmenu.html (did leave me without a voice for about a week afterwards)

It's a family turning their garage and woods into a 100% for charity haunted house - unfortunately looks like that are not doing it this year
